This week's InFocus (focus on Innovation) segment of Business Week has a comparison of McCain and Obama with respect to their statements on innovation. It is also mentioned in the online version of the article.

It is interesting to note that Senators Susan Collins (from my home state of Maine) and Hillary Clinton have done less talking and taken more action than either presidential candidate on the subject of innovation. In June, they jointly filed legislation to create a National Innovation Council.
