Hi James

I liked the last point on Pervasive Innovation. In my opinion the natural structure for pervasive innovation is non-hierarchical. In fact, if organizations can outsource their top management - many big companies be better off - in a peer to peer organization structure - Hierarchies are in my opinion anti-innovation!

Come to think of it I actually liked the complete article - especially the initial scenario which is repeated so many times now in my interactions with the CEOs that it is now a cast in stone - this is the way 99% CEOs will answer to whats u doing on Innovation?

Hi, Navneet.

Thanks for the feedback. I think the concept of pervasive innovation is so simple, and yet so often ignored.

In every other area of human endeavor the idea of practice to build skill is recognized. Yet in the realm of innovation, people are expected to produce great results without any such skill development. It's like expecting a lifelong couch potato to spring up and win a marathon race.

To be a brilliant innovation practitioner, you must live innovation in all you do.
